Children & Youth

Children are an important part of our Church family. As a Church we aim to support, guide, and encourage them in their journey of faith. We recognise their needs and celebrate the many gifts they have to offer.

Children, and members of our youth group regularly take an active role in our worship, and Church events. As well as children's/youth groups on Sundays, we also offer weekly activities, special events, and have strong links with local schools and other organisations. More information can be found below.

The church has strong links with several youth organisations. For example, a local Scout group recently helped clear our conservation area, and another is helping to conserve wildlife in our Churchyard.

Our Sunday groups, 'Sunday Rocks' and 'SHADES' meet weekly, apart from Family Services, when we worship together. We have a well equipped Children's area in Church for children under 3yrs to explore.

We have regular contact with our local preschools and schools through a variety of events including; visits, special events, school clubs, activity days, assemblies and School Governors.

Pebbles, our 'Play & Praise' group for children under 4yrs and their families, offers fun, support and friendship.

We continue to support baptism families after their baptism, by offering regular visits,encouragement and involvement in Family events.
